Workshop: Understanding Special Education and Support for Students with Disabilities.
On November 16th Disabilities Rights and Education Fund (DREDF) will provide an important training for OSA families of students with an Individualized Education Plan (IEP), 504 plan, or any OSA family that is concerned that an existing or suspected disability may be impacting their education at OSA.
The training will address the education needs of students with disabilities. They will go over laws providing educational rights for Students with Disabilities, and explain how the special education process works.
The training will take place Thursday November 16th from 6pm-8PM at the OSA Student Center.
