Did you know OSA has a Debate Team? All High School students welcome. Meetings are held every Thursday from 4:15-5:15, in Mr. Kemper’s room – Room 339. Students learn the fundamentals of debate, using philosophy, and logic. Debate skills are developed and practiced every week amongst each other, which involves critical thinking, argumentation and effective communication. Students also discuss philosophy each week and how it is weaved into debate. Being involved in debate in high school develops valuable life skills, and looks very good on college applications. Come join us!
