Vol: 16 No: 11 December 1, 2017

Thank you to our wonderful OSA community for participating in #GivingTuesday this year! We have brought in over $20,000 and are waiting to hear about matching funds from the Gates Foundation!

If you did a Facebook Fundraiser for OSA, please send your receipt or a screen shot to dschneider@oakarts.org so she can track your participation in the Annual Fund.

We are now at 38% participation school wide with over $310,000 raised for the Annual Fund. Let’s keep going to get to 100%!

Will You Get a Call on December 10?

The single most important statistic we provide to potential outside donors is the percentage of parent participation in the Annual Fund. This does not include amounts, just that parents donate to the fund.
In an effort to boost this critical number, OSA parent volunteers will meet on Sunday morning, December 10, and reach out to their fellow OSA families with a gentle reminder to please take a moment to donate whatever you can to the Annual Fund for the 2017-2018 school year.

The good news is, the call list will consist only of families who have not yet had an opportunity to make a donation. Donate before December 10 and shorten their list!

Ways to Give:

  • Recurring Gift: >Please consider a monthly gift to support your student’s 60+ hours per month of arts programming and our stellar faculty.
  • Matching  Click here to find out if your company offers a Matching Gifts program.

Email Diana Schneider, Annual Fund Manager at dschneider@oakarts.org or call 1-510-873-8807 with any questions!
