Prom!
Prom is Saturday, May 5th at Eve’s Waterfront (same venue as last year). Tickets will be on sale at lunch in Ms. Zaugg’s office or Ms. Charity’s room. Guest request forms are also available and must be returned before you buy a guest ticket.
Juniors and Seniors who wish to run for Prom Court, you can sign up outside Ms. Zaugg’s office (319), See the sign up sheet for Court titles and details.
Lip Sync Battle: Teachers vs. Students
Lip Sync Battle Teacher vs Students. If you are interested in auditioning for being a part of a teacher vs student Lip Sync Battle come and sign up with Ms Kuzmeski in room 322. The audition is going to happen Friday the 13th at lunch in room 322. When you audition, come with a song ready to perform. If you have any questions please see Ms Kuzmeski.
Spring College Night
Wednesday, April 11th from 6 to 8pm in the Student Center
All students are welcome to attend our Spring College night to learn about four year as well as community college transfer options. Some of the participating institutions include Peralta College transfer programs, Transfer guarantee to Historically Black Colleges, Cal State East Bay, SF State, Emerson College, Cornish College of the Arts, Pathways to Law School and the Relativity School.

OSAEST Presents: Social Media
OSAEST had contracted with BACA to provide the Social Media presentation. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen changes at BACA, they are not able to come on the scheduled date. With all of the OSA activities at this time of year, it was not possible to find an alternate date this school year. While we have to cancel the event this year, we are working to reschedule for early in the fall.

TESTING UPDATES
AP Exams for enrolled High School Students
Tests for high school students currently enrolled in one of our six AP classes are approaching, and will be administered from May 7 – May 16. The schedule appears below. All AP students must submit a test order form and deposit of $20 toward the testing fee by Friday March 16th. Details and deposit forms have been distributed in AP classes; extras are available in the front office. The total fee, per test, is $94. Payment in full is also accepted.
If anyone is able to sponsor a student who may face economic hardship in paying for this test, please simply write your check – payable to OSA – for any additional amount as you are able. Any excess amount will be donated to the Student Leadership Fund, and is not tax-deductible. Additionally, those for whom the fee is an obstacle to taking the AP test(s) should please contact Ms. Douglass byMarch 16th in Room 227a or at 873-8815.
Tests will be given at school; rooms will be announced closer to the test dates.
