Reflection and Looking Forward: OSA 2017/18 Annual Report

Now in its 17th year, OSA remains a dedicated force for arts education in the heart of downtown Oakland, providing abundant opportunities for learning, expression, and creativity for over 750 students.

Thanks to the exceptional commitment of our Board, faculty, staff, families, and donors, OSA is among the most extraordinary public art schools in the country.

As we approach the New Year, please take a moment to enjoy our 2017/18 Annual Report. OSA is grateful for your part in our students’ successes and the momentum we now carry into the year ahead.

Thank you,

Brian Köhn
Executive Director
Oakland School for the Arts

What happens when beloved comic characters grow up? After the rabies-induced death of CB’s beloved beagle, CB questions the existence of an afterlife. His peers prove to be unhelpful, his best friend is burnt out, his sister has gone goth, his ex-girlfriend is institutionalized, and the rest of his friends are too inebriated. Watch what happens next! TICKETS AVAILABLE AT https://bpt.me/4022679

BAZP was founded in 2012 to provide Bay Area teenagers the opportunity to produce theater independently. All of the work on stage is entirely directed, performed, designed, and produced by teens. Thank you for supporting youth arts! find out more at bayareazetaplayers.org
