This year we are excited to welcome Justin Smith as the new Learning Center coordinator. Justin Smith comes from a strong background in Math and Science. He has experience tutoring Math with Professional Tutors of America. went to Oakland Technical High School and received a Bachelor of Science in Electronical Engineering Technology from Texas Southern University in Houston. He is passionate about supporting his community with academic achievement. He owns a pit bull Sharee, and he prefers old school R&B from the 1960s to the 1990s. Finally, he loves the Oakland Raiders.
The OSA Afterschool Learning Center was created and is supported by parents and volunteers offering academic support after school four days a week in room 245. It’s open on Mondays from 12:50 to 3pm and on Tuesdays through Thursdays from 3:15 to 5:30pm.
Opening day is Tuesday, September 8th. If you are interested in having your student attend, please email learning@oakarts.org to sign up.
