Become an APT Board of Director

The Board of Directors is responsible for governance of the APT, including planning, budgeting, strategy and fiscal oversight. The bylaws provide for as many as 20 voting Directors, eight of whom hold office (View a brief description of each officer position). Currently we have positions for all officers open for the 2016-2017 school year.

Join an APT Committee

Are you interested in being on an APT committee? submit a request to us. Select any of the committees below to view a description:

Lost and Found

Spearhead the clean up of lost and found and send out reminders to parents to check the lost and found for their students items.

Communications & Publicity

Keep APT website updated and send out communications to OSA Community

Education and Enrichment

Work with the Learning Center to provide opportunities to improve our children’s academic success.

Fundraising

Help fundraising for school academic projects.

Health and Safety

Work on projects to benefit our children, such as safer drop-offs and pick-ups, family carpools and earthquake/violence at school preparedness.

HS Academic Liaison

Stay in contact with OSA high school teachers to address classroom needs.

MS Academic Liaison

Stay in contact with OSA middle school teachers to address classroom needs.

Teacher/Faculty/Staff Appreciation Events

Reward the OSA staff for their hard work.

Maintain volunteer database and contacts.

Come to the Meetings!

We host a general meeting every second Tuesday of the month for parents and staff. These gatherings take place in the OSA Student Center and begin at 6:00pm. Any OSA community member is welcome to join us at our monthly APT Board meetings. They happen on every first Tuesday of the month at 6:00pm, in the OSA Middle School Conference Room.
